Their lyrics come of the somewhat obscure nature & severity, mostly dominated by shopworn images and snipping of everyday life, too when periodically written around Bulgarian by Bulgarian band-member Mira Aroyo. Albums & so far develop focused in the balance between popular structures & the retro-healthy, and occasionally supplementary experimental leanings.

Originally, the b& were known to perform within elementary unifroms of one colour—usually either melanise or even dark green—with a military edge to their simplicity and sexlessness. Since a release of The Witching Hour, the b& seem to develop abandoned their last military smartness in favor the extra diverse wardrobe; Helen & Mira tend to have on dresses, when Reuben & Danny t-shirts and jeans.
